Sompo International bolsters US financial lines leadership
Bermuda specialty re/insurer Sompo International Holdings has tapped one of its own to oversee the underwriting, distribution and management of its US financial institutions business unit.
Kimberly (Kim) Iacocca (pictured) has been promoted to senior vice president and head of financial institutions (FI) for the US financial lines business unit of Sompo International.
Iacocca has been with the company for eight years and most recently held the title of vice president, financial institutions, US financial lines. She has held roles of increasing responsibility within the FI unit, including oversight of the West and Southeast regions, and leading the wholesale distribution initiative for the US FI business unit. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, she serves on the Sompo International Inclusive Diversity Council as well as a board member for The Bridge, a nonprofit organisation whose mission is to build an inclusive network amongst financial lines professionals.
