SCOR appoints new chief executive officer of ReMark
Re/insurer SCOR has appointed Na Jia to replace Stephen Collins as CEO of its subsidiary ReMark International, which specialises in bancassurance and life and health insurance. Jia will also head global distribution solutions at SCOR Global Life.
Collins has resigned from the company. Jia will also become a member of the SCOR Global life senior management team.
Jia has been with ReMark since 2004, holding positions including chief marketing officer, MD of Asia and regional pricing actuary for Asia. According to the company, Jia has been instrumental in building ReMark’s Asian business and developing its global core competences in digital marketing and predictive data modelling.
Before joining ReMark, Jia worked in various actuarial pricing and client management roles for Swiss Re, based in Australia, Switzerland, London and South Korea.
ReMark, SCOR Global Life’s CEO, Paolo De Martin, said: "We are grateful for Stephen’s past contribution and well established achievements for ReMark and delighted to have Na as a successor to him in this important position. This underlines SCOR’s commitment to continue delivering the most innovative and dynamic distribution solutions to all our clients across the world."
