RLI shakes up finance executive leadership as CFO Brown retires
US specialty insurer RLI has appointed Todd Bryant to replace Thomas Brown as the company's chief financial officer (CFO) from July.
Brown is retiring on 1 July, 2019 after eight years of service with the company. He joined RLI in 2011 as vice president, CFO, where he led the company’s financial strategy, planning and management operations. He was promoted to senior vice president, CFO in 2017.
Bryant was most recently vice president, finance & controller at RLI. He joined the company in 1993 and held various positions in the accounting department.
Additionally, the company has filled up two other finance executive leadership roles.
Seth Davis, vice president, corporate services, will assume the role of vice president, controller on July 1. He will lead RLI’s corporate financial reporting, corporate services, rating agency and tax.
Kathleen Taylor, assistant vice president, reinsurance accounting and cash operations, has been promoted to vice president, accounting operations. In her new role, Taylor will lead RLI’s reinsurance accounting, cash operations, accounting systems, cost allocations and expense management.
