QBE partners with Australasia's risk association RIMA
QBE Insurance Australia has entered into a strategic partnership with Risk Management Institution of Australasia (RMIA).
As part of the partnership, QBE will join forces with the institute to facilitate local chapter and thought leadership activities, and also sponsor the RMIA’s premier annual risk management conference.
"The development of strong relationships with risk professionals, through organisations like RMIA is critical to the continual growth and success of our business, helping us better support and understand industry needs and deliver improved solutions to our customer base," said Jason Clarke, QBE's executive general manager, intermediary distribution ANZO.
"Both QBE and RMIA are championing the importance of risk management within the business community and facilitating innovation within the risk management arena – by partnering we are confident these efforts will be amplified."
RMIA president Anthony Ventura, commented: "The strategic partnership strengthens RMIA’s position in leading the development of the risk management community through national based professional development, education and networking, whilst continuing to support the individuals that are fundamental to a strong association.
"This partnership sees QBE provide resources to the 2017 RMIA National Conference, as a Silver Sponsor, whilst also recognising and supporting the development of the RMIA chapters and their activities at a local level," Ventura added. "We also welcome the contribution of QBE as a market leader, to support thought leadership activities and bring innovative content to our members."
