QBE hires former Guy Carp exec as global head of client management

QBE Insurance has hired a Guy Carpenter executive as its new global head of client management at QBE Re.

Jamie Cook joins the reinsurer after spending three years with Guy Carpenter, most recently as managing director, global account segment and regional sales leader, EMEA.

Previously, he worked for Swiss Re as a divisional broker representative, EMEA, and also worked at Munich Re as a client manager in London.

From 2004 to 2012, he worked at Guy Carpenter in Sydney, Australia as managing director, head of broking – Australia / New Zealand. Following this, he moved to London and served as Guy Carpenter’s managing director, head of property treaty for the Asia Pacific region.
