PwC appoints new global insurance leader
Professional services firm PwC has appointed Jim Bichard as new global insurance leader, replacing Stephen O’Hearn who is retiring after 38 years in the firm.
Bichard has worked in the insurance sector throughout his 23 years at PwC. He most recently led the UK insurance practice with responsibility for all PwC's services to insurance clients across all industry segments, including leadership of the consulting business.
Bichard has worked primarily in the London and New York offices, serving re/insurance clients on a wide range of projects including risk and regulatory, governance, deals, restructuring and assurance. He has also held a range of leadership roles across the UK and EMEA including PwC’s London Market and Broking practice, as well as our Solvency II and regulatory team.
