Paragon Insurance Holdings, a multi-line specialty managing general agency (MGA), has appointed Andrew Petersen as regional president and executive vice president (EVP) of reinsurance operations.
Petersen joins from San Diego-based general agency Atlas General Holdings, where he most recently served as chief corporate development officer.
Prior to this, he has held senior positions at reinsurance intermediaries Guy Carpenter and Collins, where he focused on workers' compensation and general agency-based reinsurance placements.
Petersen will also be appointed to Paragon's executive management team.
