OneBeacon unit forms strategic underwriting partnership with Take1 Insurance

OneBeacon Insurance Group has entered into a strategic underwriting partnership with a US Risk subsidiary to offer rental and staging insurance coverages to the events, film and television production industries.

The new partnership with OneBeacon Entertainment, which provides specialised commercial products and coverage solutions for the entertainment and media industries, will enable US Risk's Take1 Insurance to provide rental and staging coverages for live events, including event service firms, event planners, producers, promoters, as well as for film and television production, short term or annual special events.

Joe Fitzgerald, president of OneBeacon Entertainment, said: “At OneBeacon, expertise and value-added service sets us apart. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Take1, a premier industry leader in the Entertainment market, and a company as committed to superior service and creative, comprehensive solutions as OneBeacon.”

Take1’s Scott Carroll added: “The combination of our demonstrated leadership in the rental and staging market, combined with the innovation of their product offering, is going to result in more companies than ever before signing up to take advantage of our new offerings.”
