OneBeacon taps Great American CUO for management liability business

Specialty insurer OneBeacon has recruited the chief underwriting officer (CUO), executive liability practice, of Great American Insurance Group.

Nelson Kefauver will join OneBeacon Insurance Group in Chicago as president of its management liability business unit, reporting to executive vice president Paul Brehm.

In his new role, Kefauver will lead a specialty underwriting team focused on providing management liability solutions targeting a broad range of not‐for‐profit organisations and private for‐profit companies throughout the US.

“We are excited to welcome Nelson to OneBeacon to lead our management liability business,” said Brehm. “We’re confident that his extensive management liability experience will build upon our strong foundation and help accelerate achieving our targets in this segment.”
