Nexus taps 30-year industry veteran to lead A&H reinsurance in US
Insurance intermediary holding company and managing general agent (MGA) Nexus has made two senior promotions, including a new leader of accident and health (A&H) reinsurance in the US.
Nexus Re in the US has elevated Chris Holland (pictured) to president of A&H reinsurance, Nexus Re. Holland, a 30-year industry veteran, will take over the role from Kieron Farrelly, who has recently retired. He will report to Adam Kembrooke, CEO of Nexus US.
At the same time, Darren Newman has been promoted to senior risk underwriter, Nexus trade credit. He has been with the company for three and a half years and specialises in the UK construction sector.
