Neon Bermuda has made two appointments: a new non-executive director and an assistant vice president of property insurance underwriting.
Roy Fellowes joins as non-executive director, taking over from Gavin Hunter who is relocating from the island. With over 30 years’ experience in the Bermuda insurance market, Fellowes is currently a member of the Bermuda Insurance Advisory Committee, director of the Association of Bermuda International Companies and executive member of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.
Fellowes has held a number of senior roles in Bermuda, including CEO of HSBC's global insurance management business and acting as senior consultant to the Bermuda government, where he conducted a full review of property & casualty insurance.
Stephanie Outerbridge joins the Neon Bermuda team as assistant vice president of property insurance underwriting, reporting to senior vice president, Dwayne Hunt.
Outerbridge arrives from Hamilton Re, where she held the same role. Prior to this, she was a member of the property underwriting team at Chubb Bermuda after previously working with Willis Bermuda and Alterra Bermuda.
Martin Reith, Neon Group chief executive said: “We are pleased to welcome Roy as we continue to expand after celebrating Neon Bermuda’s second anniversary. His experience and relationships in the local market will be instrumental in supporting the growth of Neon’s Bermuda platform as we develop our capabilities and product offering.”
Chris Fisher, CEO Neon Bermuda added: “Stephanie’s hire will further build on our significant progress to date in building a compelling and relevant proposition for property clients in strategically important markets. I would also like to welcome Roy and thank Gavin Hunter for his support in setting up Neon Bermuda for success during his tenure.”
