Navigators seals workers’ compensation deal with Protective
Specialty insurance holding The Navigators Group and Protective Insurance have entered into a workers’ compensation underwriting partnership.
Navigators’ insureds will now have a workers’ compensation coverage option in its multiline products offering, which provides tailored protection for risks faced by the media, arts and entertainment, life sciences, allied health care, technology and manufacturing industries.
“Leveraging Protective’s long standing expertise, we were able to respond to our clients’ needs and their requests that we offer workers’ compensation insurance as part of our suite of multiline policies. Protective is a partner that brings high-quality solutions in this area of the market,” said Vincent Tizzio, president, US insurance.
“The addition of workers’ compensation insurance further enhances the customized solutions we deliver via our multiline products, which remove the complexity of placing and structuring multiple lines of insurance with various carriers,” Tizzio added.
Randy Birchfield, president and CEO of Protective Insurance, said: “Both Protective and Navigators are leaders in our respective markets, strategically developing and honing extensive knowledge and capabilities within our core areas of expertise. I am confident that our workers’ compensation know-how will add value for Navigators’ insureds by meeting their key coverage needs.”
