Munich Re Specialty nabs ex-Liberty exec for surety build out

Munich Re Specialty Insurance (MRSI), a part of global reinsurer  Munich Re, has made a senior hire to continue the build out of its surety practice.

Mark Latini (pictured) has joined the business as senior vice president, head of contract surety.

MRSI was most recently a senior director, surety at Frankenmuth Insurance. Prior to that, he worked as an underwriting consultant at Liberty Mutual Surety, and before that regional surety practice leader at USI Insurance Services.

MRSI provides contract and commercial surety bonds across the US and Puerto Rico. The surety solutions are backed by the financial strength and stability of  Munich Re.
