Miller boosts its Singapore team with new appointment
Broker Eugene Leong has joined Miller to add to its Singapore team’s property, downstream energy and construction capabilities.
He will be working closely with Singapore and London colleagues to support growth from existing and potential new clients in the region. He will report to Chihiro Maekawa, head of property & casualty.
Leong began his career in 2001 and has been predominantly responsible for business development with insurance companies and reinsurance broking firms. He joins from Marnix in Singapore, where he produced and placed facultative property and engineering business from South East Asia. Prior to that, he worked at UIB for five years as a facultative reinsurance broker.
“In this challenging market, Eugene’s 18 years of industry experience will prove beneficial for our clients in the Asia region. His appointment demonstrates our continued commitment to providing excellent service and developing new opportunities,” said Chihiro.
