Mesirow Insurance Services joins Alliant

The broker Alliant Insurance Services has partnered with Chicago-based specialty insurer, Mesirow Insurance Services (MIS).

MIS, a division of Mesirow Financial, will continue to operate under its existing organisational structure, but with the MIS leadership team and division employees joining Alliant.

In addition, MIS will continue to operate satellite offices in Illinois and Denver.

As part of the partnership, MIS brings to Alliant its client base, resources and team.

MIS will join Alliant Americas, Alliant’s dedicated middle-market platform.

Tom Corbett, chairman and chief executive officer of Alliant, commented: “Alliant is committed to expanding Alliant Americas’ presence in the Midwest by partnering with proven regional leaders that share our values of service and entrepreneurialism.

“MIS’ high-performance production and service teams and longstanding reputation for success exemplify the Alliant standard. This partnership will create a centre of excellence for insurance, employee benefits, and risk management throughout the Midwest.”

MIS will continue to operate under its existing organisational structure, with the MIS leadership team and division employees joining Alliant. In addition, MIS will continue to operate satellite offices in Illinois and Denver.
