Lockton poaches Aon exec to manage complex risks in US
Insurance broker Lockton has expanded its construction services group with the addition of Brian Driscoll to its operations in Boston.
Driscoll is an expert in construction risk management, surety and Subcontractor Default Insurance (SDI). He previously served as a managing director for the Northeast region at Aon’s construction services group. After almost a decade of building that operation and leading the regional construction group, Driscoll joins Lockton to advise clients on complex construction risk.
Driscoll started his career with J. Barry Driscoll Insurance Agency, which specialises in construction insurance and bonds.
In his new role as an executive vice president and producer at Lockton, Driscoll will be focused on business development, advising clients, and supporting construction firms with complex risk management programmes.
"Lockton continues to grow and invest in the Boston market," said Chip Manozzi, president of Lockton’s Boston operations. "Boston business leaders have welcomed our unique approach to solving risk management challenges, and this is an important step to support our clients and our business for the long-term."
Tim Ryan, chief operating officer of Lockton’s Northeast US operations, commented: "Brian will help build on Lockton’s deep expertise in construction, design, and engineering. Our clients will benefit from his thoughtful leadership and skills at structuring and managing risk management programmes for construction firms and projects."
