Lloyd's confirms members of the new Council
The Corporation of Lloyd's has announced its new Council members including Asta's Karen Green, Munich Re's Dominick Hoare and Canopius executive chair Michael Watson.
Six of the fifteen members of the new Council are elected by the market.
Lloyd’s merged its Franchise Board and Council with effect from June 2020, following an election delay due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Full elections have now been held.
Green and Hoare secured seats as special advisors to the council, and Watson as Council member.
Effective December 1, 2020, the elected members of the Council will include Andrew Brooks, Vicky Carter, Dominic Christian, Karen Green, Michael Watson, and Jeffery Barratt.
They will join the nominated members of Council - Bruce Carnegie-Brown, Andy Haste, Angela Crawford-Ingle, Fiona Luck, Neil Maidment, John Sununu, John Neal and Burkhard Keese.
Lloyd’s chairman Carnegie-Brown, said: "I am pleased to welcome all the elected members of the Council and look forward to working with them all as we deliver Lloyd’s strategy to build the most advanced insurance marketplace in the world."
