Lloyd’s broker Oneglobal shakes up top leadership to fuel global expansion
Specialist independent Lloyd’s broker and delegated authority specialist Oneglobal Broking has shuffled its senior leadership team to fuel its global expansion following a “significant transformation” of the company over the recent years.
Roger Spicer has been promoted to chief executive officer (CEO) of global specialty from his current position as group head of broking.
Sirikit Oh is now the CEO of Oneglobal Asia. Previously, she was CEO of Oneglobal Singapore.
Phil Gingell has been promoted to chairman and CEO of US aviation. Luca Garbarino to executive director, group deputy chairman, joining the main board of Oneglobal. Lastly, David Lum has been named chairman of OGB Asia.
The changes reflect “significant transformation” of the company over the last three years, from a London market marine and North American P&C business into a global specialty insurance and reinsurance broker with operations in London, Asia, Bermuda, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe, and the US.
The broker will establish a global executive committee chaired by Mike Reynolds, as well as a global specialty committee chaired by Spicer, with representation from senior specialty and geographic leaders.
Mike Reynolds, group CEO of Oneglobal, said: "I am delighted to announce these changes today, which substantially strengthen the leadership team of Oneglobal, reflecting the rapid growth and the increasingly important contribution of our international operations alongside our deep London Specialty expertise. We are proud that so many talented colleagues have joined Oneglobal in the last three years, and we remain hugely excited by the opportunity to continue building a truly global, client-focused, specialty insurance and reinsurance broker."
