Litmus launches market research venture

Ratings advisory firm Litmus Analysis has launched a new venture aimed at providing quality market research and analysis and hired a former S&P executive to help run it.

Litmus Research Associates will be, according to Litmus, underpinned by a fundamental understanding of how the re/insurance markets work in practice and the critical success factors for re/insurers, brokers and other service providers.

Robin Dicks has joined Litmus as a partner in the new venture. He has held senior market and client research positions at RBS, PwC, and S&P along with eight years running his own practice.

Dicks said: “Among the hardest challenges in business leadership are to objectively define and measure how well you are doing in the eyes of your clients and markets, how their needs are evolving and where to invest to ensure you best serve those needs.

“All our programmes are designed to deliver a high return on investment, in particular by helping generate additional opportunities.”
