Liberty Specialty swoops on AXA XL for new chief digital strategy officer
Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, has hired AXA XL’s chief of staff to drive its digital strategy for underwriting and developing a long-term roadmap of the digital evolution across its global markets, including the transition of existing business to digital channels.
Parul Kaul-Green (pictured right) has been appointed to the newly created role of chief digital strategy officer, with Carol Baker (pictured left) assuming the new role of head of digital strategy, London & Global Products, reporting to Kaul-Green.
Kaul-Green joins from AXA XL where she was chief of staff, Asia Pacific and Europe, responsible for developing the corporate strategy, ESG governance and strategic communication. She joined AXA in 2015. She has over 20 years of experience in strategy and technology innovation in financial services.
Baker joined Liberty in 2014. Prior to her new role, she was head of customer proposition, a role she took up in 2019. She has over 20 years of experience in business development, product strategy and IT solutions.
Kaul-Green will leads a team of digital experts across the globe reporting to Phil Hobbs, president and managing director at LSM. She is based in the landmark Walkie-Talkie building in London.
Baker will be responsible for developing LSM’s digital strategy for the region.
