Lancashire-owned Cathedral appoints Woolley as CEO as McKee steps down

Cathedral Underwriting, which manages syndicates 2010 and 3010 and is owned by Lancashire Holdings, has appointed a new chief executive.

Emma Woolley joined the Lancashire Group in January 2017 as compliance director and as a member of the board and Cathedral executive management team. She will replace Andrew McKee who steps down on 31 January 2019.

Before joining Cathedral, Woolley was head of compliance at Canopius; prior to this, she held roles as a contracts specialist at Swiss Re and BMS.

Alex Maloney, Lancashire Group CEO, said: “I am delighted to see Emma assume the role of CEO at CUL. She has already established herself as a valued member of the Cathedral management team and is a respected member of the CUL Board. I would also like to thank Andrew for his contribution to CUL and the wider Group. I wish him well for the future.”
