JLT strengthens global aerospace leadership in North America
JLT Specialty USA, a subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, has extended its global aerospace leadership with key appointments in North America.
Phil Gingell has been promoted to executive chairman of the aerospace practice. Gingell most recently served as president of JLT’s aerospace practice in North America based in Chicago.
Steve Lloyd has been appointed CEO of the aerospace practice, and Steve Alexandris as deputy CEO.
Lloyd will relocate from London and be based in Chicago. He joined JLT in 2013 and most recently served as a partner and a member of the executive committee for JLT aerospace in London. Prior to joining JLT, Lloyd was an executive managing director, airline practice leader and a member of the aviation and aerospace practice executive and management group at Marsh.
Alexandris has previous held senior leadership and management roles in both underwriting and broking. Most recently he was regional executive, aerospace – Americas at AIG and he was a member of the aviation global executive committee. Alexandris will be based in Atlanta.
In addition, Jason Klevens, who joined the organisation in May 2016, is being promoted to president at JLT Specialty USA, aerospace practice and will remain in the Atlanta office.
