JLT Re's Pete Chandler joins BMS Group as president of US reinsurance

Specialist re/insurance broker BMS Group has appointed Pete Chandler as president of its US reinsurance operations. Chandler is the latest in a series of recent high-profile  hires from JLT.

Chandler was most recently deputy CEO JLT Re (North America). Prior to joining JLT Re in 2016, he was Marsh’s managing director for the Western region. Previously, he was North American COO for Guy Carpenter and an executive vice president at Benfield.

Chandler will also join the BMS US board subject to regulatory approval. He will report to Steve Korducki, US reinsurance CEO.
