Integro appoints former chief executive of ESIX to leadership role
Brokerage and risk management firm Integro Insurance has promoted Mike Price to lead its global sport team, a part of the firm’s international entertainment and sport practice.
In his new role, the Atlanta-based Price will be tasked to lead strategy and development of the sport division, and work closely with the management teams in North America and the UK.
Price will report to Integro’s global entertainment and sport practice leader Neil Clayton in London.
Prior to joining Integro, Price was the chief executive of ESIX (acquired by Integro in December 2015), a company he founded in 1994 to serve the specialised risk management and insurance needs of amateur and professional sports organizations, athletes, leagues, teams, foundations, venues and associations.
Clayton said: "Mike's appointment is an exciting move for the practice and I know he will work to build out the team into different territories and deliver the growth objectives we have in the global sport sector."
"His 'work hard, play hard' attitude is reflected in everything he does from participating in triathlons, heli-skiing and marathon bike rides, to his charitable contributions to Habitat for Humanity, Families First and St. Jude's Research Hospital."
Price added: "Integro has assembled some of the finest sports properties and the most talented professionals in our sector. I am excited and honoured to have the opportunity to work with these talented individuals while expanding our global presence through the Integro commitment to excellence."
