Insurity partners with Larsen & Toubro Infotech on P&C data warehousing and analytics platform
Insurity, a provider of cloud-based software for insurance carriers, brokers and MGAs, is partnering with Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI), which will serve as system integrator for its new Data Warehousing and Analytics Suite (DWA).
DWA promises to speed up data warehousing and analytics for property and casualty (P&C) insurers while also driving down costs by using Snowflake, the cloud data platform. Insurity said it reduces workloads for underwriters by consolidating data into a central repository, and increases profitability by identifying patterns and trends in data more quickly.
DWA accepts data from any policy, billing, claims, reinsurance, MGA or TPA sources, providing out-of-the box support for 31 commercial, personal and specialty lines of business and is based on non-proprietary ACORD standards.
LTI will be the primary implementation partner for P&C insurers who want to deploy DWA.
LTI, a global technology consulting and digital solutions company with operations in 31 countries and 33,000 team members, has partnered with Insurity for more than 12 years. It is committed to streamlining P&C insurance software implementations across various geographies, divisions, currencies, languages and regulations.
Roy Wood, chief customer officer at Insurity, said: “We are sure this will transform the way P&C insurers analyse data, write policies, and go-to-market.”
David Althoff, chief business officer for insurance at LTI, added: “Insurity’s software has been built using insights from more than 100 insurers over thirty years. LTI’s deep expertise in the insurance domain, our institutional knowledge of Insurity’s products and solutions, and our strong partnership with Snowflake makes us the ideal partner to deliver this transformation predictably.”
