Howden picks up next two Swiss brokers in M&A drive to leaderboard

International insurance broker  Howden has picked up its fourth and fifth brokerages in Switzerland, building its headcount in country to 130 in eight regions as the drive to top the Swiss leaderboard rolls on.

argenius Risk Experts comes to Howden as advisor primarily to medium-sized companies and large organisations, specialising in sophisticated risk analysis and portfolio placement.

RVA Versicherungsbroker works with small and medium-sized businesses on all insurance and risk issues, in addition to being a specialty broker with a focus on social institutions.

The two new acquisitions follow purchase of three Swiss brokers in the last two years including Born Consulting, Bachmann & Partners and Broker Center Zurichsee.
