Hiscox taps insider to lead Guernsey operations

Specialist global re/insurer  Hiscox has tapped one of its own, director of crisis management, to take on the role of managing director of its Guernsey operations, replacing Steve Camm.

Mike Williams (pictured) will become new MD of Hiscox Guernsey, taking over from Camm who will continue as a non-executive director.

Williams has held several senior roles across Hiscox London Market over the last 11 years including major property line underwriter, director of specialty, and most recently, director of crisis management.

“Mike has established an impressive reputation both within Hiscox and with our key partners and clients. His leadership, passion and commitment have been instrumental in driving growth and I look forward to working closely with him,” said Jeremy Pinchin, chairman of Hiscox Insurance Company (Guernsey).
