HDI Global Specialty hires former Marsh London head of crisis management David Palmer
Specialty lines insurer HDI Global Specialty SE has hired David Palmer as head of crisis management.
Palmer, the former London head of crisis management at Marsh, has 35 years’ experience in the insurance market and has previously also held senior crisis management lines of business roles at both AIG and Aon.
Based in London, he will work alongside Wolfgang Dinzen and his team in Cologne, providing crisis management solutions across the HDI Global Specialty international network or through the London market.
The announcement follows the recent appointments of Will Morris as director of underwriting for delegated authority, and Clare Constable as director of claims.
Richard Taylor, HDI Global Specialty SE UK managing director and a member of the UK executive board, said: “David is another key hire for us as we bring together the right team of senior market practitioners with the capabilities to implement and realise our growth strategy.”
“His experience and track record speak for themselves; I’m pleased to welcome him to the team.”
