HDI Global overhauls UK specialty lines underwriting around six new ‘pillars’

HDI Global Specialty UK has restructured its underwriting operations around six ‘pillars’ within its single risk business to drive innovation and business growth.

Under the new structure, Adam Curran (pictured) will take up the position as director of specialty lines and report to Rafael Rebitzky, managing director and CUO of HDI Global Specialty UK.

Curran has been with HDI for 10 years and has vast underwriting experience across different lines of business.

The six new business divisions will be led by Nick Robinson - financial risks, David Palmer - crisis management, Matthew Johnson - mining & energy, Mark Edwards - private clients, Charles Boorman - financial & professional lines, and Neil Dave – transportation.

Rebitzky believes the new structure for single risk business will enable HDI in the UK to take the next steps in its growth strategy.

“Bringing together individual product lines into six pillars will enhance our ability to collaborate and innovate and establish a robust operating model that can maximise service to commercial brokers and clients,” said Rebitzky.
