Hanleigh hires 35 year veteran to strengthen its sales team in California

Hanleigh, a managing general underwriter subsidiary of wholesale specialty insurance distributor  CRC Group, has hired a sales director in its Dana Point, CA office.

Bill Haley has over 35 years of experience in income protection solutions for professionals and executives, with a focus on guarantee standard issue, integrated plan designs, risk transfer and other disability income risk management strategies.

He was most recently regional director for the West and PNW regions at Guardian Life Insurance, having started his sales career with Unum in Washington DC for 14 years. He also helped to open Mass Mutual’s DISO office in Atlanta, GA, where he worked for 15 years.

Chris Peterson, Hanleigh’s president, praised Haley’s “deep industry knowledge.” He has a “reputation for partnering with and providing solutions to brokers for some of the country’s largest law and medical firms, household name high tech companies as well as medium size to closely-held successful businesses,” Peterson added.

Hanleigh offers high limit disability, personal life and accident, and special risk contingency coverages to high net worth professionals, athletes, entertainers and organisations.
