Guidewire partners with risk mitigation company Ethos

Property/casualty platform provider Guidewire Software has partnered with risk mitigation company Ethos Risk Services to help insurers streamline their claims investigations.

Ethos is a full-service investigative and risk mitigation company, providing national and international coverage to insurance companies and specializing in workers’ compensation, liability, homeowner’s, life, health and disability insurance.

As a PartnerConnect Solution partner, Ethos Risk Services will employ the Guidewire DevConnect developer platform to produce an add-on that will enable Guidewire ClaimCenter users to integrate to Evestigate, Ethos’ software application for claims.

“Fraud continues to be a concern for the insurance industry, and the integration between Guidewire ClaimCenter and Ethos will help those responsible for investigating and handling suspicious claims by providing a fast and safe way to submit claims investigation orders, track progress, and transfer highly sensitive claim data,” said Becky Mattick, vice president, Solution Alliances, Guidewire.

Micah Smith, chief executive officer of Ethos Risk Services, said: “Our partnership with Guidewire further reinforces our commitment to helping eradicate fraud within the insurance industry. Our data integrity, security protocols, and performance analytics provide insurance companies with thorough, timely, and cost-effective investigations, and we look forward to bringing these capabilities to our mutual clients.”
