Global Aerospace taps CNA, Hartford veteran lawyer for top US claims role
Aircraft insurer Global Aerospace named veteran CNA and The Hartford lawyer as its new head of claims for the US market.
Rachel Priester (pictured) will step into the role February 7, both heading up claims service and "guiding tactical and strategic decisions for the company."
Rachel hails from CNA Insurance where she is currently a managing claim counsel. She was previously managing assistant general counsel for The Hartford after having risen through the Law Department since 2010.
Jeff Bruno, president and chief underwriting officer, commented: “We are extremely excited that Rachel has agreed to lead our claims team in the USA. Our customers will benefit from her extensive legal and claim background which includes broad experience in insurance coverage and litigation in commercial, specialty and personal lines.”
