Generali unveils new virtual inspection system for large companies
Italian insurer Generali’s P&C unit Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) Iberia & LatAm has developed a new system for remote facility inspection designed to address the consequences of COVID-19.
Generali said the new solution simplifies processes for clients and brokers where claim assessments are directly contingent on COVID-19 pandemic travel bans that has made on-site visits challenging.
The new system has been implemented on a permanent basis as a risk management and analysis solution tool. It offers a variety of remote facility inspections to meet the specific needs and resources of the client.
The remote inspection service is currently available to both existing and new clients in Spain.
