Generali rolls out new professional indemnity insurance for self-employed and SMEs
Italian insurer Generali has launched a new professional indemnity (PI) insurance aiming to support the self-employed and SMEs engaged in certain business activities.
The insurance is dedicated to professionals involved in low- or medium-risk professional activities in the fields of communication and marketing, advisory services and consultancy, education and welfare, computing, engineering and architecture, in the economic, legal and administrative sector.
Insureds will also be able to benefit from additional covers including general liability, tenant’s and professional liability, loss of key person, reputation management, defamation and slander and mitigation costs.
Carlos Gomez Pascual, head of GC&C Iberia & LatAm, said: "The new service Generali is making available for business organisations has been developed by GC&C, which specialises in solutions of this type and has global experience in the management of personalised client solutions.
