Generali looks to revamp global construction practice

Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C), Italian insurer  Generali's P&C unit, is looking to revamp its global construction industry practice with a special focus on green energy.

Alejandro Muñiz (pictured) has been promoted to head of construction & green energy effective from January 1, 2022. He currently serves as the head of engineering underwriting Iberia & LatAm.

Muñiz has more than 10 years of experience in the insurance sector. He specialises in construction, engineering and energy insurance.

Manlio Lostuzzi, CEO of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, said: “I am delighted that Alejandro accepted this challenge. Further enhancing Construction and Green Energy business represents one of the initiatives on which GC&C wants to aim for growth in the years to come.
