Gallagher promotes construction specialist Fatt to managing partner
Broker Gallagher has promoted Stuart Fatt to the role of managing partner construction, reporting into the newly-appointed CEO of UK Specialty & Wholesale, John Thompson.
Fatt holds over 20 years of construction experience, with the last four and a half spent at Gallagher, building out the business as head of the international construction team. Prior to that, he spent nine years as a senior member of the international team at JLT, following ten years at Marsh.
Thompson said: “I am delighted to announce Stuart’s promotion to Managing Partner, which recognises his vast technical expertise and knowledge in this sector. Our team of construction specialists features some of the industry’s strongest talent, and we’re proud to have been able to appoint from within for this critical role – a testament to the wealth of talent we have and that continues to grow within our business. We look forward to benefiting from Stuart’s drive and ambition as we continue to establish the market’s leading construction proposition.”
Fatt commented: “The current market dynamics make it a truly exciting time to lead our growing Construction team and I look forward to working across both the UK and international parts of our business to maintain the strong culture, team ethos and cross-departmental collaboration that allows us to focus all our energy on our clients and our strategies to drive continued commercial success.”
