Gallagher closes multimillion acquisition of Buck
Global insurance broker Arthur J Gallagher has completed its largest human resource benefits acquisition to date for $660 million as part of its strategy to attract and retain talent to drive its future growth.
It has acquired the partnership interests of BCHR Holdings, dba Buck, valued at $660 million.
Buck is an integrated provider of HR, pensions and employee benefits consulting, technology, and administration services throughout the US, Canada and the UK. Its team of 2,300 employees will operate under the direction of William Ziebell, head of Gallagher's employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.
