French reinsurer CCR appoints speciality line and digital transformation leaders

French government backed reinsurer CCR Re has hired senior specialty lines leader from PartnerRe, while its parent company CCR has appointed a digital transformation manager to strengthen its client service agility.

CCR Re has appointed Antoine Poidatz as specialty lines senior vice president within its underwriting and claims department.

Poidatz began his career at AXA Re where, between 1994 and 2007, he successively held the positions of financial risk underwriter, head of motor underwriting (US market), World Head of the Natural Disaster Modeling Department and vice president, US property & casualty underwriter. He also served as underwriting director of the life, accident and health department at Paris Re. Most recently, from 2011 to 2019, he was senior life actuary, then senior non-life underwriter for the Middle East, Africa and Russia at PartnerRe.

Aurélien Couloumy has joined CCR as digital transformation manager, alongside Hind Mechbal, group CIO.

Couloumy started his career in Paris in 2012 as a consulting actuary with Optimind, before moving to Brussels for Addactis as model manager. Since 2017, he was in charge of the data science department at Reacfin.
