Former RSG MGA CEO resurfaces at Ascot/Ethos
Ascot Group has appointed Jerry Tegan, former president and CEO of RSG Underwriting Managers, as the executive chairman of Ethos Specialty Insurance Services.
Ethos is a US managing general agency (MGA) platform launched by Ascot Group in August 2017.
Tegan will also join the Ascot Group executive committee providing support for all of the Ascot operating businesses.
In his role as executive chairman, Tegan will work with the management team of Ethos to execute strategic growth initiatives and build industry leading operating capabilities and infrastructure.
Tegan served as a managing director of Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) and president & CEO of RSG Underwriting Managers until his retirement in January 2016. Prior to joining and helping to lead the formation of RSG in 2010, Tegan spent 22 years in executive roles at Aon Corporation leading a number of MGA and broker businesses including serving as chairman, president & CEO of Agency Specialty Product Network Insurance Services.
