Everest makes senior hire to expand excess casualty offering in energy
Everest Insurance, a subsidiary of Bermuda-based Everest Re Group, has hired Andreas Graham to join its excess casualty team and lead the expansion of energy portfolio and capabilities.
Graham will report directly to head of Everest specialty casualty Connie Germano. In his new role, Graham will support both the existing energy team led by Tom Morelli with supported excess layers, while also pursuing standalone excess opportunities for insureds within the energy segment.
Based in Boston, Graham joins Everest from Prosight Specialty Insurance where he was responsible for marine and energy. Prior to that, he held roles of increasing responsibility with ACE USA focusing on energy ultimately as the national practice leader for energy and construction.
Prior to ACE, Graham was the regional manager and assistant vice president of AIG Global Energy Excess based in Boston. He began his career at Hiscox Syndicate 33 at Lloyd’s as a marine liability underwriter.
Germano said: "With Andreas’ significant experience in the energy space, we are confident we will be able to expand our tailored coverage offerings, thereby helping solve our Energy client’s unique challenges. Andreas’ background, relationship and knowledge will prove accretive to our already formidable capabilities within the energy space and we are thrilled to have him join the team."
