Cunningham Lindsey replaces UK marine technical director
Claims management firm Cunningham Lindsey has appointed Stephen Foster as marine technical director in the UK. Foster replaces Ray Saunders, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Foster, who currently heads the loss adjuster’s marine team in Indonesia, will be relocating to the UK to take up the role from August.
Foster’s primary responsibility in the UK will be handling major and complex marine cargo losses. In addition, Cunningham Lindsey’s marine surveying and adjusting operations in Indonesia will also remain under Foster.
Foster has spent over two decades working overseas in both Indonesia and Singapore and has extensive knowledge of the marine insurance market in the UK and Asia Pacific regions, having been involved in overseeing the development of the firm’s marine operations in Asia Pacific.
Neil Gibson, Cunningham Lindsey's loss adjusting services director, commented: "Stephen’s wealth of experience in handling major and complex marine cargo loss will enhance the capability of the UK team significantly. Being able to bring in a person of Stephen’s calibre underlines our commitment to clients, and further improve our service delivery to them."
