Coverys Syndicate 1975 appoints MPL underwriter
Coverys Managing Agency Limited, the Lloyd’s managing agent of Syndicates 1975, 1991, and 3330, has appointed Priya Fathers as Medical Professional Liability (MPL) Underwriter for Syndicate 1975, effective immediately. She will report to Phil Sloan, interim active underwriter.
Fathers brings over 15 years of specialist underwriting experience to Syndicate 1975 having previously served as underwriting manager, medical malpractice, at W/R/B Underwriting, where she focused on primary surgeons and consultants and UK SME business. Fathers has also held medical professional liability underwriting roles at Swiss Re, Newline and Atrium, and latterly was a consultant to Willis Towers Watson in the MPL space.
