Colony Specialty appoints environmental leader amid reshuffle
Kelly Killimett has been appointed to lead the environmental business of Colony Specialty, a subsidiary of Argo Group International Holdings.
Former environmental business leader Marsh Duncan will now serve as the head of digital business development. He will report directly to Kevin Rehnberg, president of Argo Group’s US Operations.
Killimett will report to Ron Vindivich, the new president of Argo Group US excess and surplus lines.
"Kelly has developed deep expertise by working in the environmental business for many years, especially in working side-by-side with Marsh for the past five years. She is the natural leader to take our environmental business to the next level," said Rehnberg.
Killimett joined Colony Specialty in 2012, and was promoted to her current role as vice president of underwriting in 2014. Prior to that, Killimett served as a manager and underwriter in the environmental department at American Safety Insurance Services.
Rehnberg added: "Marsh has done an excellent job with this program. In his new role, the broader organization will benefit from his expertise as he works closely with our digital team to accelerate our efforts to become a more digital business."
