CNA hires from Chubb for business strategy, technology and operations
US-based commercial insurance provider CNA has appointed Caroline King as senior vice president of business strategy, technology and operations.
King joins CNA with nearly three decades of experience in consulting and insurance. Most recently, she served as senior vice president of global operations at Chubb. Prior to that, King held various leadership roles in global strategy and consulting at AIG and Deloitte.
In the newly-created role, King will work jointly with the leaders of information technology, worldwide operations and procurement, and focus on advancing the company's strategic direction of technology, operations and vendor management.
King will report to Joseph Merten, executive vice president of technology and operations.
"Caroline is extremely skilled and highly regarded for her strategic vision," Merten said. "One of our top priorities is to better understand how CNA's information technology and operations areas can accelerate the services we provide to our customers, agents and brokers, and employees. I'm confident Caroline will advance our efforts to optimize these areas."
