Chubb appoints Roberts to lead small business division at Westchester
Westchester, Chubb's wholesale excess and surplus insurance business, has appointed a new senior vice president to focus on small businesses.
Dave Roberts brings nearly two decades of industry experience to the role, having held several regional and national leadership positions before joining Westchester in 2014. He was previously senior vice president of small business underwriting.
He succeeds David Charlton, who is retiring, and reports to David Lupica, chief operating and distribution management officer at Westchester. He is based in Malvern, PA.
Roberts oversees product and business development, underwriting operations and profit and loss performance, as well as developing and implementing strategies that help drive overall profitability and growth.
Lupica said: "As a key contributor to the development of our small business platform, [Roberts] has a keen understanding of the needs of our small business clients and distribution partners.”
