CAC Specialty launches professional liability and cyber practice group
US insurance broker CAC Specialty has recruited Adam Lantrip, Sam Levine, and Laura Burke to run its new Professional Liability and Cyber Practice Group.
The group is responsible for the design, placement, and ongoing service of complex professional liability, cyber, and technology-driven risks, and specializes in creating bespoke solutions for clients to insure what were previously deemed “uninsurable risks”.
“We are excited about the formation of the Professional Liability and Cyber Practice Group,” said Bruce Denson Jr., president of CAC Specialty. “Cyber Insurance has quickly become one of the most challenging and dynamic segments of the insurance market. Our investment in a premier team reflects our continued commitment to bring resources and solutions that make a difference for our clients.”
Adam Lantrip joins CAC Specialty as senior vice president and leader of the Professional Liability and Cyber Practice Group. For over 12 years, Lantrip worked at one of the world’s largest insurance brokers. In addition to advising CAC Specialty’s clients, he will be involved in the development of manuscript insurance policies, alternative insurance program structures, and captive utilization strategies for corporate and private equity clients.
Sam Levine joins CAC Specialty from Marsh JLT Specialty, where she was a senior vice president within the Cyber Center of Excellence. Prior to Marsh, Levine spent nearly six years at Aon, where she served as vice president within the Professional Risk Solutions team, advising clients in the Western US and providing national expertise in network security, privacy, and technology risks.
Laura Burke joins the team with experience including broking at three of the world’s largest insurance brokers and leading the national Cyber and E&O team at the world’s largest P&C insurer. She has worked as a broker in both London and the US and has experience tailoring coverage across multiple lines of insurance.
