CAC expands natural resources practice with senior hire

Specialty insurance brokerage  CAC Specialty has expanded its natural resources team with the hiring of a senior leader in the energy sector.

Mari Beth Ross (pictured) joins CAC’s natural resources team as senior vice president.

Beth Ross has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, specialising in wind and solar power generation, coal, natural gas, combined cycle, nuclear, retail energy, pipelines and gas production.

Prior to joining CAC Specialty, she was a senior vice president at Moore-McNeil, where she provided insurance and risk management due diligence consulting and advisory service for lenders and investors in a lead role for project finance transactions and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at NRG Energy, including seven years as the director of insurance.
