Brit bolsters cyber and tech unit with Nationwide hire
Specialty re/insurer Brit has appointed Courtney Mocio as vice president, cyber and technology at its US unit, Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU).
Mocio joins BGSU from Nationwide Insurance Company where she spent the last five years writing a book of cyber, technology and professional business. Prior to that, she held the position of executive underwriter at Hartford Financial Products where she underwrote cyber, management liability and E&O business.
In her new role, Mocio will be responsible for helping to develop and grow Brit’s cyber and technology portfolio in the US. She will be based in BSGU’s New York City office and report to Michael Carr, senior vice president for cyber.
