Berkshire Hathaway adds former Goldman Sachs partner to board

Warren Buffett’s  Berkshire Hathaway has appointed a former Goldman Sachs partner to its board of directors.

Thomas Murphy, Jr. has been elected to the board of Berkshire. He co-founded Crestview Partners in 2004,  a private equity firm based in New York City.

Prior to starting Crestview, Murphy was a partner at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Additionally, He serves on the boards of New York University, NYU – Langone Health and The Inner-City Scholarship Fund.
