Beecher Carlson CFO joins US broker Prime Risk Partners
Georgia-based insurance broker Prime Risk Partners has appointed Scott Tofil as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Tofil joins Prime Risk Partners from Beecher Carlson, where he served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and chief accounting officer. Beecher Carlson is the specialised large account subsidiary of Brown & Brown, acquired in 2013.
Prior to joining Beecher Carlson in 2005 as vice president and controller, Tofil served as a CPA for a private industry. He has 20 years of experience in financial operations, financial reporting, accounting systems and mergers and acquisitions.
"Scott is a tremendous addition to our senior management team," said Bret Quigley, Prime Risk Partners chairman and chief executive officer. "Scott brings to us his vast experience in financial reporting and analysis, M&A analysis and integration, accounting, business planning and operations. We are excited to welcome him aboard."
Tofil succeeds Robert Schneider, who remains as a consultant to the company.
Quigley added: "Bob is a well-respected veteran insurance industry executive with a long and distinguished career. He helped guide us through our infancy to our current status as a Top 50 broker. We are thankful for his many contributions to date and grateful that he will continue to consult with the company."
